Present Perfect Tense

Explanatory ( Definition

              Present Perfect Tense Expresses those action or state that have happened or did not happen in the recent past.

 

Syntax (Structure)

Formula:

            Subject + has/have + past participle form of verb + Object.


Note:

Have used with plural pronoun.

They , we , I you , plural Noun.

 

Implementing (Examples)

Positive Sentences

1. I have got 1st position in Matric Exam.

2. You have polished your Shoes.

3. We have pressed our clothes.

4. They have won the Match.

5. Aslam and Jamil have frowned to each other.

6. She has worked hard.

7. He has abjured from bad action.

8. Aslam has forbidden his brother from bad action.


Syntax (Structure)

Negative Sentences

Formula:

                Subject + has/have + not +3rdform of verb + Object.


Note:

       Has not used for singular pronoun

      He , she , it , Singular Noun.


Note:

     Have not used for plural pronoun

They , I , we you , plural Noun


Examples:

1. He has not watched the football match.

2. She has not brought water from spring.

3. Shazia has not pressed her Clothes.

4. They have not drunken the water.

5. we have not searched the difficult words.

6. I have not checked my Notebook.

7. Bilal and Arsalan have not quarreled with each other.

Interrogative Sentences

Formula:

           Has/Have + Subject + 3rdform of verb + Object?

Note:

     Has + Subject + 3rdform of verb + Object?

     Used for  Singular Pronoun

    They , I , we You , Plural Noun

      Have +Subject+ 3rdform of verb + Object?

Used for plural pronoun

They , I We , you , Plural Noun


Examples:

1. Has she looked after her children?

2. Has Aslam eating the meal?

3. Have they taken breakfast?

4. Have you bought new shoes?

5. Have we cooked the bread?

6.  Have the Gardeners watched the plants?

7. Have I offered my prayer?

8. Have the birds flown in the Air?

    Used for Singular pronoun

Used for plural Pronoun

          Used for Plural Noun

3. Have I mocked behind the mud people?

4. Have they not clean their room?

5. Have children not played game?

6. Has teacher not punished the children?

7. Has she not thought/guessed about her Future?

8. Has he not collected the papers?
