Syntax (Structure)

 

Active Voice

                   Subject + will/shall + verb 1st form+ object.

 

Syntax (Structure)

 

Active Voice

                   Subject + will/shall be + verb 3rd form + by +object.

 

Implementing (Examples)

 

Positive Sentence

(1)A/V: He will win the competion.

    P/V: The competion will be won by him.

(2)A/V: She will call us.

   P/V: We will be called by her.

(3)A/V: They will buy marker.

    P/V: Market will be bought by them.

(4)A/V: You will write a letter.

    P/V: A letter will be written by you.

(5) A/V: We shall/will polish our shoes.

     P/V: Our shoes shall/will be polished by us.

(6)A/V: I shall/will take tea.

    P/V: Tea shall/will be taken by me.

(7)A/V: Aslam will play cricket.

    P/V: Cricket will be played by Aslam.

 

Syntax (Structue) Negative

 

Formula

      A/V: Subject + will/shall + not + verb 1st form + object.

 

Formula

     P/V: Subject + will/shall + not + be + verb 3rd form + by + object.

 

Implementing (Examples)

(1)A/V: She will not win the competion.

     P/V: The competion will not be won by her.

(2)A/V: He will not bring the wood from hill.

    P/V:  The wood will not be brought by him from hill.

(3) A/V: They will not watch the T.V.

     P/V: The T.V will not be watched by them.

(4) A/V: You will not write the book.

    P/V:   The book will not be written by you.

(5) A/V: I shall/will not squeeze my clothes.

     P/V:  My clothes shall not be changed by us.

(6) A/V: We shall not change our clothes.

      p/V: Our clothes shall not be changed by us.

(7)A/V: Ahmad will not make a noise.

     P/V: A noise will not be made by Ahmad.

 

Syntax (Structure) Interrogative

 

Formula

     A/V: Will/Shall + Subject + verb 1st form + object?

Formula

    P/V: Will/shall + subject + be + verb 3rd form + by + object?

 

Examples

(1)  AlV: Will you buy a marker?

     P/V: Will a marker be bought by you?

(2) A/V: Will they dress their clothes?

    P/V:    Will their clothes be dressed by them?

(3) A/V: Will she sing a song?

      P/V:  Will a song be sung by her?

(4) A/V: Will he read the newspaper?

    P/V: will the newspaper be read by him?

(5) A/V: Will Saleem pluck the flowers?

     P/V: Will the flowers be plucked by Saleem?

(6)A/V: Shall we win the match?

    P/V: Shall the match be won by us?

(7) A/V: Shall I buy marker?

     P/V: Shall marker be bought by me?

 

Syntax (Structure) Negative Interrogative Sentences

 

Formula

     A/V: Will/Shall + subject + not + verb 1st form + object?

 

Formula

    P/V:  Will/shall + subject + not + be + verb 3rd form + by + object?

 

Examples

(1) A/V: Will she not bring the water from spring?

     P/V:  Will the water not be brought by her from spring?

(2) A/V: Will he not watch the T.V?

     P/V: Will the water not be brought by her from spring?

(3) A/V: Will they not recit the holy Quran?

     P/V:  Will the holy Quran not be recited by them?

(4) A/V: Shall we not wash the clothes?

     P/V:  Shall the clothes not be washed by us?

(5)A/V: Shall I not pass the exam?

     P/V: Shall the exam not be passed by me?
