Present Perfect Tense


Syntax (Structure)

              A/V:        Subject + h/v (has + have) been+ verb 3rd form + by + object.


Implementing (Examples)

Positive sentences

(1)A/V: I have taken breakfast.

     P/V: Breakfast has been taken by me.

(2) A/V: You have polished your teacher shoes.

     P/V: your teacher shoes have been polished by you.

(3) A/V: We have won the match.

     P/V: The match has been won by us.

(4) A/V: She has recited the holy Quran.

      P/V: The holy Qurran has been recited by her.

(5) A/V: He has sung a song.

     P/V: A song has been sung by him.

(6) A/V: Aslam has changed his clothes.

     P/V: His clothes have been changed by Aslam.

(7) A/V: They have watched the T.V.

      P/V: The T.V has been watched by them.

 

Syntax (Structure) Negative

Formula

  A/V:   Subject + has/have+ not + verb 3rd form + by + object.


Examples

         (1) A/V: She has not pressed her clothes.

        (2)  P/V: Her clothes have not been listened by them.

       (3)  A/V: you have not punished the children.

             P/V: The children have not been punished by you.

      (4) A/V: He has not killed the lion.

           P/V: The loin has not been killed by him.

     (5) A/V: We have not spoken Urdu.

          P/V: Urdu has not been spoken by us.

    (6) A/V: He has not washed his clothes.

          P/V: His clothes have not been washed by him.

   (7) A/V: Ahmad has not learned his lesson.

         P/V: His lesson has not been learned by Ahmad.

  

 Syntax (Structure) Interrogative

Formula

      A/V: Has/have+ subject+ verb 3rd form + object?


Formula

       P/V: Has/have + subject + been+ verb 3rd form+ by + object?


Examples

(1) A/V: Have they passed the 10th Exam?

    P/V: Has the 10th Exam been passed by them?

(2) A/V: Have we sent message him?

    P/V: Has he been sent message to by us?

(3) A/V: Has he made a noise?

     P/v: Has a noise been made by him?

(4) A/V: Has she taken tea?

     P/V: Has tea been taken by her?

(5) A/V: Have you switched of your mobile?

     P/V: Has your mobile been switched off by you?

(6) P/V: Have we written the books?

     P/V: Has the book been written by us?

(7) A/V: Has Ibrahim broken the mirror?

      P/V: Has the mirror been broken by Ibrahim?

 

Syntax (Structure) Negative + Interrogative

Formula

A/V: Has/have + subject + not + verb 3rd form + object?

(1) A/V: Has you not listened death news about Junaid Jamshid?

     P/V: Has death news not been listened by you about Junaid Jamshid?

(2) A/V: Has she not cut her hairs?

     P/V: Have her hairs not been cut by her?

(3)A/V: Has he not bought new books?

    P/V: Have new book not been divided by them?

(4) A/V: Have they not divided the sweats?

     P/V: Have the sweats not been divided by them?

(5)A/V: Have you not listened Mashall Radio?

    P/V: Has Mashall Radio not been listened by you?

(6) A/V: Have we not plucked the flowers?

    P/V: Have the flowers not been plucked by us?

(7) A/V: Has Salim not played cricket?

     P/V: Has cricket not been played by Salim?
